Ping is a command line utility used in Telnet/SSH that allows you to determine if a host is reachable or offline. The web-based utility we provide allows you to set the number of times to ping a host you specify. The usefulness of ping is that you can determine the minimum, average, and maximum latency that exists between you and the host.
