The File Transfer Utility automatically mirrors any portion of any website using the FTP protocol. However, you must have the hostname or IP address, login, and password to access the contents of the site via FTP. In other words, it will only work on website(s) which you have access to via FTP. Once you have specified a hostname or IP address to mirror, provided the area to mirror, provided the login and password, the program does the rest. It automatically logs into the specified website, moves into the area you specified to mirror, and starts copying all files, and makes all directories it finds as well. The program is very efficient and considerably faster than downloading the files to your computer, then re-uploading to your account with us. Additionally, options in the File Transfer Utility allow you to have only files which do not exist on your account with us to be retreived, leaving existing files alone. Another option allows you to automatically backup any files with exist on your account with us before being retreived from your old provider. Finally, the program will email you at an address you specify when the transfer session is complete.
